All That you Need to Know BSc. In Industrial Chemistry

B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry is an undergraduate programme. It is typically a three-year programme in the field of industrial chemistry. It is a study of the process of developing, optimising and monitoring fundamental chemical processes that are used in industries that transform raw materials into useful commercial products. Firms manufacturing rubber, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, polymers etc are examples.

For example, Rubber in its original form is useless to us. But tyres, rubber bands, erasers are very valuable to us. The process of converting raw rubber into useful objects using chemical and physical falls in the realm of  industrial chemistry.

The course is also designed to provide technical and managerial knowledge to the student to function in industrial development and management.

Some of the main subjects covered in this programme are chemical processing, chemical engineering, industrial management, project management, plant management, operations management etc.

These professionals are skilled chemists who know chemical processing, economics and Industrial management.
